About me – BIO

I am experienced Project Manager, skilled and certified in waterfall and agile methodologies. My academic background in Mechanical Engineering resulted in a career in Mechatronics and was later-on supplemented with Management Studies. I have almost 15 years of exp. participating, preparing, coordinating and managing projects, with a 2-year period of managing a team/department as well. Throughout my career I was involved in development of innovative tangible products, with a huge part of R&D, sometimes science, starting from heavy industrial stuff (contruction machinery, electric vehicles), through robotics and mechatronic test equipment, with a bit of software, up to high-tech aerospace devices and niche technologies (e.g. nano-bubbles). I never missed a chance to learn and touch some topics beyond my scope of duties, always trying to do more than expected, e.g. improving the processes, business development, supporting HR. Hence, nowadays I’m not a specialist, but rather generalist, who understands multiple technologies and aspects of business. Recently, I switched my career path from industrial world to consumer products, diving into the world of balancing the consumer, business and technology aspects for products sold in millions, and also started focusing more on PM and mgmt. skills development. However, I always enjoy the most the technology part of the projects and due to my wide experiences I can easily act as a technical lead as well.

I started MandE Services & Solutions business in The Netherlands to be able to deliver my freelance consultancy and management services, product development, as well as one-off prototyping jobs and short consultations. I am growing my own prototyping workshop. I always have some personal projects in the pipeline, typically in the domain of CNC machines / routers, mechatronic / testing equipment, not to mention occasional art/craft combined with technology. I try to keep up with the technology news in a broad sense. I perceive the world through the prism of data/figures/statistics. I am eager to learn and like to deep-dive into new domain every now and then, which is also reflected in my approach to business opportunities – always open to engage with new topics out of my comfort zone.
